SANTA FE SUNSET © 1994 Patricia Gould In 1993, I moved with my husband to Santa Fe, having been drawn to the unique beauty of the desert and the southern Rocky Mountains. The light in New Mexico changes rapidly and imparts unusual colors to the sky and earth. The mountains shimmer in greens, blues, purples, and pinks, while the desert below changes through a myriad of hues.
