| ICE I © 2003 PATRICIA GOULD The aqua color under the water is not a reflection, but is the root of the iceberg, which we can see due to the purity of the deep blue Antarctic water. Antarctica is a land which is entirely black and white with the exception of the sky, the water, and the ice. We think of ice as being white, but the most incredible colors of blue are flaunted by these offspring of ancient glaciers. 36” x 28” Exhibitions A Spring Obsession, Firestone Vineyards, March - May 2007, Murphys CA Au Naturale, Tims Art Quilt Studio, August-Sept 2006, La Veta CO NM SAQA group show, May 2005, Hobbs NM Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival, February 2005, Hampton VA Quilts, A World Of Beauty, IQA, November 2004, Houston TX Down By The Sea, April 2004, Myrtle Beach SC Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival, February 2004, Hampton VA |
