THREE ASPENS
Aspens actually are not individual trees, they are part of a huge organism that spreads across hundreds of acres and they live for thousands of years. They grow all over New Mexico at elevations above 7000'. While I miss the intense fall colors where I grew up back east, I love the vibrant gold of the aspens against the blue skies of the southwest.
Painted and stitched silk and cotton, 20 x 20 inches. Mounted on black canvas/stretcher bars, 24 x 24 inches. Wired and ready to hang.
